Tom + Mat Attack

Tom + Mat Attack 154 – Paper Based Murder

On yet another Switch-Focused TMA, Mat’s been playing the 3 games that if you own a Nintendo Switch, you need in your life… Namely Super Bomberman R (meh), Snipper Clippers: Cut It Out, Together (yay!) and The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (Oh Mama!). Tom has been upto some things between lowering the tone of the podcast, namely playing games like ADK Damashii on the PS4, as well as getting some on sale bargains in the likes of Dead Rising HD and Pacman Championship Edition 2!

Tom + Mat Attack 153 – Feelin’ Nintendo-ey

On this week’s TMA, the boys are both feeling ‘Nintendo-ey’ to use Tom Parry’s exact words. He’s been playing some Epic Mickey on the Wii, as well as almost beating Star Fox Zero, which he thinks isn’t all too shabby! Mat on the other hand, despite being down with the sickness, has been lost in the world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda” Breath of the Wild, as well as playing a little Super Bomberman R on his new, shiny Nintendo Switch… He tries to talk about it but the man flu wins out and hilarity ensues…

Tom + Mat Attack 152 – Squeezin’ Yakuza

You wouldn’t guess it from the title, but Mat only went and beat Yakuza? By jobe! He also played some Rez and might go out of his way to attempt to prove the PS2’s status as the greatest console of it’s generation. All the while, Tom’s been playing some (dare we say it…?) Hidden Gems on the system, not to mention losing sleep over the state of movie-licensed games and the Nintendo Switch…

Tom + Mat Attack 151 – Amazing!

ON this week’s TMA, the boys have been sampling more retro gaming delights! While Mat has been chomping at the bit of the PS2 game known as Yakuza, he’s come to some very controversial opinions about it and Shenmue. Tom however has been simply playing all the super hero Wii games under the sun. Some of them are genuinely amazing, like Wayforward’s Batman: The Brave and The Bold, others, like The Amazing Spiderman… Well, just listen and find out!

‘Twas the Podcast before Pokémas, and all through the house, not a 3DS was stiring, with an electrical mouse… As the boys eagerly await Sun and Moon, they try and clear out the games they’ve already been playing! Apart from real life stuff, Mat’s been playing Uncharted, avoiding the PS4 Pro and some Ninja Spirit on the Turbo Graphics 16. Tom on the otherhand has decided now to collect Spiderman titles, as well as purchasing Batman Vengence, playing Pull Box and nay saying Final Fantasy XV. Yup, it’s a podcast alright!

It’s a mystery you’ll just have to uncover on this week’s Tom & Mat Attack!

Tom + Mat Attack 140 – Getting Switchy with it…

On this week’s podcast, the boy’s hearts are naturally all a flutter with the reveal of the Nintendo Switch. If you’re already too tired of people pining over the same 3 minutes of footage, fortunately Mat’s been knee deep into the latest releases, including some hands on time with the real Dragon Quest Builders and Battlefield 1. Tom’s been testing out that new Pokémon Sun and Moon Demo for good measure, as well the usual talk on what the boys have been buying!

Tom + Mat Attack 139 – Pokemon Black Sheep

On this installment of TMA, the boys are coming to terms with it being the season of gaming. Tom’s been playing the Recore Demo, while Mat’s spent an hour with Dragon Quest builders. Tom + Mat Attack 138 – The Trials and Tribulations of Taxi the Cat

The boys are back in town was a very good song, and while indeed these boys are back, they’re here to provide an equally pleasurable audio experience! Tom on the other hand, has been basking in the delights of LastFight and Strike Vector EX… What he’s not been basking in however, is Star Wars: Battlefront’s Death Star maps… Taxi the Cat on the other hand has been mainly playing with Toilet Roll dispensers…

Tom + Mat Attack 136 – Sensetive Thumbs

What do you get when you have one Mat Boyle that’s only played one Game all week, that just happens to be a JRPG? A bored Tom Parry? Or one completely bowled over to the delights of Valkeria Chronicles HD? It’s actually somewhere in between! Tom’s been buying and not playing all the latest releases, instead he’s been delving into the depths of Naruto Fighting games and Japanese imports… We also put a bow on No Man’s Sky and the snark surrounding a generally ok-ish game. There we said it! Like Mat’s thumbs, don’t be sensitive to our opinions…
