Tom + Mat Attack 134 – No Mans Flu

Much like a faulty watch or a crooked sun dial, you should not set your watch by the release of a new Tom and Mat Attack. However, like a well cooked steak or a cheeky vimpto, it should be enjoyed and savored once it arrives! Hopefully now back on a regular schedule post-Danish holidays, the boys have been playing some serious games! Mat has boldly gone where no man has gone before in No Mans Sky, while giving his brain a work out trying to figure out how to pronounce ‘tetromino‘ in Tricky Towers. Tom, always a purist, has been focusing his efforts on playing some FPS games of a bygone generation such as Syndicate, as well as doing some Gears-esq Rodeo Running in Spec Ops: The Line. Are any of them any good? Well, let’s find out!

Annnnnd we’re back! Did you miss us? Well, never fear! We’re going to recap for you 3 weeks of gaming delights! Alas! E3 is over, many games have been announced and discussed, so it’s time for us to get back to what we usually do, talk about what we’ve been playing, while screwing up what number podcast we’re on (sorry Lapras fans!)… Mat’s been beating a lot of games like The Talos Principle, The Witcher 3 and Trials of The Blood Dragon, while Tom’s not been finishing Rise, but actually beating Pokemon titles! Like ‘poking’ a friend, or helping them harvest their crops, or in the case of Shadows of the Beast, eating their lifeless corpse to fuel your own fiendish intentions! Well, Tom’s been doing just that! Mat however has been socially putting bullets in the heads of the cast of Overwatch and fending off demonic hordes in Doom… It’s a wonderful world!

Tom has naturally, been playing some more Skylanders, as well as buying more elusive Lemmings titles! It’s a jam packed episode, I tell thee!

Tom’s been hoovering up any Marvel Disney Infinity Figure he can get his hands on for Infinity 3.0’s upcoming Powerstone Battlegrounds Playset, while Mat defends the need to Amiibo! The boys decided to do the opposite of the usually exciting video game content and talk budget sports titles, biblically themed platformers and a lot of tosh besides that! Mat makes some controversial statements about Zelda and has his mind blown by how many Double Dragon games there are, while Tom’s been picking up some obscure titles and playing a little bit of Metroid Zero Mission and mispronouncing words!
