Tom Plays YesterMorrow (PS4)

Join Tom as he plays YesterMorrow for the first time and is suitably impressed with this puzzle platformer that features beautiful pixel graphics, tight controls, engrossing gameplay and a fantastic soundtrack!

NOTE: Apologises for the background hum, it looks to be caused by charging the controller while playing. I'll avoid doing this in the future, lesson learnt!

TMA 240 – The Word of the Week

On yet another TMA, the boys have mainly been playing games starting with the letter ‘S’! On top of Mat’s usual Genshin Impact update, he played and fell in love with The Sexy Brutale, while Tom’s been enjoying Spiderman on the PS4, while starting to see the cracks in Shenmue 3… as well as a JRPG?!?

Unboxing Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection (PS4) - Pix'n Love Collector's Edition

The folks at Pix‘n Love have released a rather special version of the latest Samurai Shodown Collection.

This version features every 2D instalment of the main series of games and is quite the fully-featured package.

This special edition version also contains postcards, a soundtrack, an art book and a cardboard spacer (and the game of course)! All this comes housed an a heavy duty Neo Geo style case.

Tom's Gaming World! - Episode 20 - Mini Game Room tour, 3DO fighting games and more!

Tom's back for another one, in the 20th episode of Tom's Gaming World, Tom gives us a quick tour around his old games room as he very slowly moves things out of it. We also have a look at a couple of 3DO fighting games and 'Flopon the Space Mutant', a hidden gem of a puzzle game. There's also an update on Tom's Dreamcast VGA solution and a mention of 8BitDo's lovely SN30 pro+ controller.

Tom's back streaming Shenmue 3 again! It ends up being a pretty exciting episode all said, as a character from the past re-appears and there's a fair amount of action to be had...however the game's design continues to show it's shortcomings in a big way. The thumbnail sums things up pretty well...
