Eternal Crusade: Early Access

I'm a massive Warhammer 40,000 fan, so I've of course been keeping tabs on the third-person MMO shooter entitled Eternal Crusade with some interest.

Today the studios behind the title have announced that they are now at a stage to move the development from it's current state on to the Steam Early Access program. Until now the game was being mainly backed by it's Founder packages, which will cease new sales on 25th January. By heading onto Steam the game takes a massive step towards it's final finished product.

Eternal Crusade pits four different factions, the Space Marines, Chaos Marines, Eldar and Orks against each other and hordes of Tyranids. The gameplay is very squad based with elements of PVP and PVE. Drawing on years of background Warhammer 40,000 lore, you'll be able to upgrade your weapons and armour while gaining skill points to further enhance your character. The game looks superb, and while it's currently being developed for PC it should also be available in the future on Mac, PS4 and Xbox One.

The Closed Beta is happening right now via the various Founder packages.  As previously mentioned you've got until the 25th to join up. In the meantime expect Eternal Crusade to land on Steam very soon!

For now though, ironically, I've got an Ultramarines army to finish building and painting!
